I think it’s great that you’re giving your imagination a place to grow through writing. What’s something writing has taught you about yourself?

Thank you so much for reading! That's a great question. Honestly, writing this story taught me that I'm very patient. I learned that I can sit with a feeling—or a silence—for a long time before I know what to do with it. It also taught me that I care way too much about the things people don't say to each other. What about you? What has writing (or reading!) taught you about yourself? :D

@DaniDani,Honestly, I’m more of a reader than a writer, so I think reading has taught me to pay attention to the little things in people and stories. I really enjoy seeing how writers turn quiet feelings and things left unsaid into something that actually makes you feel them. I think that’s one of the reasons your answer stood out to me it sounds like you put a lot of thought into the emotions behind your story. Do you feel like this story changed the way you understand your own characters while you were writing it?

@stellareed1, Thank you. And yes — absolutely. The characters changed. I thought I knew them when I started. By the end, I was following them instead of leading them. The quiet moments, the silence, the things they didn't say — those showed up on their own. I just tried to listen. Thanks for noticing! :]

I really enjoyed your story, and honestly, I’ve been enjoying talking with you about it too. I’d love to keep chatting and hear more about your characters and the story as it develops. @DaniDani,Yeah, I can definitely follow you here, that’s not a problem at all. I’d still prefer if we could connect somewhere else too, like Discord or Instagram. I feel like it would be easier and more comfortable for both of us to talk there, especially if we want to chat more privately about your story and characters. I don’t really use this site that much, so I might miss messages or updates here. That’s why I think staying connected somewhere else would be easier for both of us. Would you be comfortable with that?
