CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN
Her death hit them like a shock, Zhao offered to pay for all requirements needed for her burial. Luckily, the mafia also died.
Fred couldn't get over her death, it was too painful, he never got the chance to tell her how much he loved her and her last words hurt him more.
She loved him, he never knew, how could he... he sat on that chair in tears, wishing it never happened.
V comforted Klao, he had cried and cried and couldn't cry anymore. It was all his fault, if he did not bring her along, maybe this would never happen.
She cared for him, was kind and generous to him. He looked at the crying Klao and promises to repay her kindness to her son.
He sighed, the wedding between Zhao and Simi was the next day, Zhao tried but couldn't shift the date as Simi's labour day was just few days away.
He wondered what he could do, just give up on Simi... maybe destiny never wanted him to live long... he had no chance in wining Simi.
He was just a soulmate, he decided to wait for that death when Simi finally ties the knot with Zhao.
He looked at his friend, whose heart was filled with sorrow, he wanted to say something but decided not to as it wasn't the right time to say such.
Telling his friend, he might be next after Princess would hurt him more.

[Night]
Zhao enters Simi's room and sees her brooding, he sits next to her and asks, "do you want to marry me or not?"
Simi looked at him trying to control the tears in her eyes, she lied, "I am just pained about Princess death."
She was only thinking about Kyung whom she yearned for.
"I understand, it's kind of painful." Zhao sighed
"Zhao, are you comfortable fathering another man's child?" She wanted to know
"What's wrong in it? I have already considered the child as mine, and I am thinking of giving him a mixed Chinese Korean name because of his dad." Zhao said
She looked at him in awe and asked, "why are you doing this?"
"Doing what?"
"Why are you being there when you know... this is wrong?" Simi asked
"I don't understand you." Zhao replied
"I literally cheated on you, got pregnant, and still you cared for me, and now you are willing to father my child?"
"Yes, I am, what's the point?" He asked wondering what she meant.
"Why are you doing this? Like, what's the main reason? I want to know." Simi said
"I love you and I... just love you." Zhao smiled
"That doesn't answer my question." Simi squeezed her face.
"I want to be there for you, support you, care for you, fight for you, I just want to be a better partner, beside your pregnancy is not 100% your fault." Zhao said firmly
"What if your family figures out the truth?" She asks
"Who are you getting married to?" He asked
"You."
"That's right and now, stop worrying." Zhao smiled
Simi just looked at him, not knowing what to say to him. He sets her bed for her and ushers her to sleep.
She could only lay beside him with her eyes open.
He notices and began to sing nursery rhymes for her, she knew he would be a good daddy with those songs. She yawned, it was working, she closes her eyes and falls asleep.
He smiles immediately she slept off, he covers her with her blanket and leaves her room silently.
He heads to his room and sends the scholarship letter to V via text message.
"What's this?" He receives V's message.
"I prepared a scholarship for Klao."
"But why?"
"I owe his mum a lot, I just want to do my part and make sure Klao doesn't suffer, and never feel that he's an orphan."
"Thanks a lot, you didn't have to."
"Forget it, it's nothing, tell him to choose any school he wants, I have approved that my company will sponsor him and I am sorry."
"Sorry for what?"
"That you never got the chance to be with Simi."
"It's nothing anyway, have a good night and a happy wedding."
Zhao sighed and whispered, "should I give her up for him to live but my family..."

[The Next Day]
Simi got dressed in her wedding dress, it was so beautiful and sparkling. She looked at the mirror and felt bad, was she doing the right thing?
She remembered she always waited for this day before Kyung came into the picture.
The door opens, Feng smiles as she enters, she moves closer to Simi and said, "you are lucky to have Zhao."
"Who are you and what do you want?" Simi asked
"I am a friend, Zhao and I went to the same school." Feng replied
"Oh." Simi tried to smile
"Every woman must jealous of you right now, cause Zhao is not just any partner but the best." Feng smiled as she touches Simi's wedding dress. Dark magic flowed from her hand into the dress.
Feng smiled and said, "have a nice wedding."
She leaves the room and smiles, the moment Zhao sees her, he will reject her. The portion she got from the witch will definitely work. How evil of her? She smiled and walks to the hall.
Simi wondered who the weird lady was, she sighed and noticed how beautiful she was as she looked at the mirror.
"Simi." Kyung calls her name, he walks towards her with tears in his eyes.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose be back in South Korea?" Simi asked
"Simi, I couldn't go." He cried
"What do you mean?" Simi asked
"I love you, I am nothing without you." He cried
"I... I love you too but maybe it's not meant to be." Simi tried to compose herself.
"If you love me too, let's run away from here." Kyung suggested
"Zhao's family will come after us." Simi points out
"I don't care ok, I don't... I am ready to face any consequences, all I want is to be with you." Kyung said
"Fine." Simi agreed
...
V stood at the entrance of the hall, Diana sees him and runs towards him.
"You keep ignoring me." Diana frowns
"I have told we can't be." V points out
"Because of a soulmate, tell me, who's she anyway?" Diana frowns
"Simi." V replies
"Which Simi are you talking about?" Diana asked shocked, she knew about the whole soulmate stuff as he had explained everything to her.
"Simisola, her last name is Adebayo." V replies
"What? My best friend?" Diana exclaimed in shock
"You know her?"

Simi and Kyung runs through the street as the guards of the Lu's family were after them.
They ran through the road and tried to cross it but then the van runs over them.

"Where is Kyung?" Kyung's dad rushes towards Zhao.
"Is there a problem?" Zhao asks
"Before Kyung does something stupid, I just want to tell him that Simi is his biological sister."
"Sister?"
