So I think since it's a pretty straightforward topic, I should get straight to the point.
My favourite music artist is AURORA. She is a Norwegian singer and songwriter who mostly sings in English.
How I came to know her?
I came to know her by her most famous song "Runaway", hence the title being Runaway Lady. I remember hearing that song all over the internet a few years back. At that time I was a complete stranger to the person behind that song and although I liked the song I never bothered looking who for the artist. Fast forward to almost an year and a half ago, I rediscovered Runaway and got hooked to it. Then, I came across a YouTube video of an Indian artist, who had made a version of Runaway in their native language, titled "Singing the hindi version of Runaway infront of AURORA herself". Turns out, since her version had also went viral AURORA had reached out to her. In that video, I saw AURORA for the first time. I found her mannerisms rather uniquely weird so I googled her. And that's when I started trying out her other songs. I tried "Cure for me" and a few others but the one song that actually made me start to like her was "Running with the Wolves". "Running with the Wolves" instantly resonated with me and I found myself listening to it on repeat. And after all this I tried her other songs and I liked all of them.
Why I like her?
The reason why I like AURORA is the emotional depth, meaning and themes of her songs. Her vocals and tunes are good bonuses. AURORA was the first artist who was able to literally impress me by almost all her songs. I have heard many artists before her but have never had a favourite mainly because I would only listen to one or two songs of a specific artist. Other than the reliability and emotion, her songs also contain beautiful wording and poetry.
